Q. What kind of Marketing and Administration Support can I expect from All-Star Fundraisers and WorldxChange?

A. All-Star Fundraisers is in the business of helping sports teams, leagues, and youth organizations raise funds. Due to the nature of the compensations structure afforded through our arrangement with WorldxChange, All-Star Fundraisers will also make a small percentage above and beyond that paid to the team or organization running the fundraiser. To that end, it is in our best interest to help your fund raising program be as successful as possible. We are in this as a team!

All-Star Fundraisers will help you get your program off the ground and will be with you every step of the way providing marketing and administrative support. Following are the types of support we offer throughout the program:

  • Q. Is there a fee for my organization to enroll in this program?

    A. No. There is no enrollment fee as long as your organization can provide proof of non-profit, federal tax-exempt status. If your group is not a non-profit organization, there is a $199.00 enrollment fee.


    Q. Our program is small. Will this fundraiser work for us?

    A. Yes. However, your group will probably acquire fewer customers than a large group. This will mean that your group's combined billable customer usage may not reach the 10% or higher commission levels.


    Q. How will I keep track of who signed up for the program?

    A. Once enrolled, your group will be provided with a WorldxChange hosted Web site that will allow you to track all of the activity of your group's customers. You will be able to track the telephone numbers of all customers, how many calls they have made, and how much commission your group is generating. All-Star Fundraisers will also supply you with a customized spreadsheet that will allow you to track which phone numbers were gathered by which team members. This will allow you to recognize outstanding fund raising performance by parents and their kids and reward them with incentive awards (highly recommended).


    Q. How do we sign up customers?

    A. There are two main ways that your organization can enroll customers to The Penny Plan.

    1. Paper-based sign-up. All-Star Fundraisers will provide brochures explaining the fund raising program including complete information about The Penny Plan long distance service. We will also provide self explanatory sign-up forms for each member in the program. Also included will be a letter to each parent outlining how best to go about helping their child enroll customers.

    2. Online sign-up. Once you have enrolled with All-Star Fundraisers and WorldxChange, you will be given a Web site. This site, hosted by WorldxChange, offers potential customers the opportunity to research The Penny Plan product and sign-up online. This site will include your organization's name. All-Star Fundraisers will also supply banners and links from your own Web site to your WorldxChange hosted site so that potential customers can check out The Penny Plan and sign up right from your own site!

    Q. Our season is only four months long. Will we be paid all year?

    A. Yes, your customers will be making phone calls every month. Your team will be paid monthly throughout the calendar year. In fact, many of your customers will remain with The Penny Plan for 2 years or more. That means that your organization will continue to receive commissions indefinitely! As long as you still have customers using The Penny Plan service, you will receive a monthly check!


    Q. Once someone becomes a Penny Plan customer, who do they contact for questions or assistance?

    A. WorldxChange runs a superior Customer Service Center. All questions and service issues can be answered by them directly toll free at (800) 569-8700 or online at customersupport@worldxchange.com


    Q. What if a customer wants to return to their old long distance company?

    A. All they need to do is call their old long distance company and ask to switch back.
